About The Founder
Katelyn R. Leitner, Ed.D. Educational Leader | Instructional Innovator
Dr. Katelyn Leitner is a results-driven educational leader committed to transforming teaching, learning, and leadership systems so that every decision reflects what’s best for students. With extensive experience across K–12 education, she partners with district leaders to align vision and systems, supports instructional leaders in strengthening leadership practices, builds teacher capacity, and ultimately designs rigorous, engaging learning experiences that improve outcomes for students.
Throughout her career, she has led division-wide initiatives impacting thousands of students and educators, supported the development of high-quality instructional
systems, and designed and launched innovative programs—including a K–5 laboratory school. She has also secured and managed grant-funded initiatives to expand
opportunities and access for all learners.
She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Superintendent License, bringing both deep academic expertise and
practical, system-level leadership experience to her work. Dr. Leitner is a co-author of STEM Century: It Takes a Village to Raise a 21st-Century Graduate: Suffolk, VA Edition and has written educational articles focused on curriculum design, instructional leadership, and innovative practices. Her work reflects a commitment to bridging research with real-world application.
Recognized as an ASCD Emerging Leader, City-Wide Teacher of the Year, and Teacher of Promise, Dr. Leitner is passionate about empowering educators, elevating outcomes, and creating sustainable systems that drive continuous improvement.
